This photo was shot in 2020 after the completion of the bridge renovation and the beginning of the pandemic. There was an eerie silence that morning I shot this. The road was quiet, and I was able to stand in the middle of the road to take this shot. Not a soul passed by that morning. The lighting was just perfect. My photography is raw, no editing or enhancing.

About The Artist
Dana Taylor, Spring Branch Texas
Dana Taylor, a 1985 graduate in fine arts, spent most of her college days in the jewelry studio and her nose in art books. Her path was to be a museum curator, even interned at the San Diego Museum of Art. Studying art history led Taylor to travel and study art and architecture of the masters in Europe. Her interest in the business side of American art sales led her to minor in Business Administration and Computer Information Systems at San Diego State University. Was a pioneer in graphic design as the world of ink and paper transitioned to the keyboard.
Currently living and working in Spring Branch Texas with her husband and Italian Greyhound pack in the Hill Country of Texas.

My daughters and I were returning from a road trip. I had to pull over and snap this beautiful show of wild flowers and pasture land which is so typical out here in the Texas Hill County.
