About Us

We are located in the Texas Hill Country between Austin and San Antonio.  We train Italian Greyhounds to win in the AKC Conformation Show ring.  We are also a small breeder who keeps puppies longer than other breeders.     The litter typically stay with us until they are 8 months old.  This gives me the time I need to pick the right pup for the show ring and enter the pups in the puppy division at a local AKC Conformation Dog Show.  During the time they are here at Dainty Acres, we train the pups with the basic home skills, service dog skills and show dog skills so they are prepared for what ever career they choose to go into.  It is important to us to help new families communicate better with their new fur-family member and grow into a fun and fulfilling partnership.
